Rocky Mountain Raceway

This weekend, we were able to go to the Rocky Mountain Raceway. Tyler went with his dad on Friday night while I was at work.

On Saturday, the three of us went back. We had such a great time!

Mace kept calling the jet car a 'fire truck.' He was mesmerized by the fire.

Mace had a lot of fun watching the cars go by.

He loved clapping for the cars too.

Tyler and I decided that Mace might be a player. He hung out with THREE different girls while we were at the event. This was girlfriend #1

My favorite were the mini cars. They looked like little toys on the race track.

It was crazy every time the cars would turn the corner because they would come so close to loosing control.

This was girlfriend #3. She was so cute with Mace. She would help him sit up on the bench, then pick a handful of grass and sprinkle it over Mace. He kept yelling "Whoa!" every time. She would then help brush him off.

A night of racing wore Mace right out!

We got to watch the jet cars race 1/8 of a mile. There were only two races. The first one, a car stalled and the during the second one, a car ran out of gas. They told us that the cars get 5 feet/gallon! After the races were over, we were able to go down on the track that they use for the drag races. It was so sticky! Tyler and I were both felt like our flip flops were going to be stuck to the ground!
