I love to see the Temple

So, yesterday, one of my friends from high school got married. I was lucky enough to be able to witness it! It was so wonderful to be in the temple that Tyler and I were married in. It brought back a lot of exciting memories! I am so glad that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! It makes me happy!

Dance Dance!

Learning how to dance! I love it!

I think he's pretty good!

Time for a bath!

I really do love these kids! I was watching Sadie and Meredith and when I announced that I was going to give Mace a bath, they decided to join him! We had fun making their hair look crazy from the shampoo!

My favorite little boy and me!

It is always so much fun to watch fireworks! I am glad we live in America! Happy 4th of July!

Mace the Monkey

Tyler's parents have built some bars for the grandkids.
Mace has figured out how to hang from them!

There are three levels, and Mace has mastered them all!

So Strong

I love these faces!

Such a little stud!

This one is just too funny! haha Mace loves to swing!

Family 4th of July Camp -Out

Nicholson Family Camp-out!

Over the Fourth of July Weekend, we went camping with Ben, Elizabeth, Sadie, Meredith, Shellie, Paul, Brenner and Brad! It was a lot of fun. We camped at Tanner Flat in Little Cottonwood Canyon. We had a beautiful camp ground and had a lot of fun spending time together as a family.

Gotta have wood!

Boiling water, and a leaf, and I think a starburst wrapper in a paper cup!

Nice warm fire

All the cousins with Uncle Ben!

Brenner and Meredith

This was right behind our camping spot- beautiful!

We went on a little hike to a waterfall close to where we were camping.

Tyler and Brad took turns trying to run up the rocks.

Sadie and Brenner had fun using the rock as a slide!

Mace fell asleep in our new Ergo Baby Carrier

Cute family picture!

Mountain Biking

Last week, Tyler and I went on a little bike ride! It was so much fun! I wouldn't call myself a mountain biker, (remember our second date?) but I did try hard to stay in control, which is my biggest fear. It was really nice to have a little date night together!

My Hiccups!

Who knew hiccups were so funny!

Riding the Train

First Family Parade! Mace's first time being in a parade!
Yay for Draper Days!

Here we are, in the train!

Little Lucy! She is so stinkin' cute in those sunglasses!

Getting ready for the parade to start.

Tyler and Mace

We had a lot of fun! I wasn't planning to be in the parade, because I hadn't been to bed yet. It was great and we waved to lots of people!

Playroom under the Stairs

Tyler and I have hired a company to finish our basement.
They are doing such a great job, too!

They have cut out a little door and window under our stairs for a play room!

Mace already loves it!

(More pictures to come about the basement!)

My Baby is WALKING!

Mace is starting to walk! This was last night at Grandma Donna and Grandpa Roy's house. We always have so much fun at their house!

I am so proud of Mace. He is getting so big and learning so much. He is such a sweet little boy!

Hi Dad!

"Dad?"

Everyday Mace and I call Tyler while he is at work. I usually have it on speaker phone in the beginning so Mace can hear his Daddy's voice.

Today, I was working on the computer in our family room. Mace found the house phone, picked it up and started pressing the buttons. Just as I look over at him, he holds the phone to his ear and says, "Dad?" It was so cute. We called Tyler so Mace could say hi!

I am amazed at how smart my baby is!

Trek and TONS of pictures

Trek was amazing!
Tyler and I were a Ma and Pa!
We had three girls and five boys.
Shali. Laura. Lauren. Wesley. Tanner. Graig. Luke. James.
We seriously had the best family.

We dealt with the heat, the wind, the dust and a little rain.

The first day, we found that our Kool-Aid can had been punctured-We learned that a little bit of powder goes a long way.

The first night, we found out more about the members in our family- We learned that we could be friends

The second day, we found our cooler empty when it was time for lunch- We learned how to beg for food from other families.

The second night, we found a dance partner- We learned how to have fun by doing the pat-a-cake polka!

The third day, the four girls pushed our handcart for over a mile, all uphill- We learned that we can do hard things, the men learned that women are capable and strong.

The last night, we listened as members of our family and others bore their Testimony- We pondered about our own feelings about the pioneers and our testimony.

The last day, we said our goodbyes- We learned how much we had grown over the past three and a half days. We learned how to befriend someone. We learned not to judge a book by its cover. We learned that we can be pioneers today. We learned how to help each other. We learned about love.

I am so grateful that Tyler and I were able to experience this together. We had so much fun. I love each of our new children. They are amazing. I really, REALLY hope we get another opportunity like this in the future!
