Suckers

Mace climbed up and sneaked some suckers out of the cupboard for Cruz and himself.

I love this face!

I am so grateful for these two partners in crime!

Jumping in the Leaves

We went to my sister's house to drop off a few things and ended up staying for the rest of the day.
The huge trees in the backyard made the biggest pile of leave I have ever seen! The kids LOVED being able to jump and be thrown in the pile. They even hid from the adults and would try to scare us!
I don't know if this picture gives the pile justice! I was HUGE!!

After playing in leaves for a very long time, they started to play with the other toys the backyard offered.

This is what you do when you only have two cars and everyone wants a ride! Cruz tried being where Coop is, but fell and decided he was done with that.

More leave time!

Tyler getting in on the action!

Dear Santa

I am just trying to win a silhouette- one of my dream purchases!

I told Tyler that this is my graduation present if I can't win one before!

Mace telling stories at bedtime

Mace was telling us bedtime stories. He was being so funny, so I quickly grabbed my camera. I have no clue where he came up with all the stuff he told us and I can really only come to one conclusion, that being, he is all boy. Seriously, if you need a laugh, watch this.

Playing at the park and at home

Tonight was too beautiful to not be outside. We took the kids to the park. Tyler, being the great photographer that he is, got some fun shots of the kids.

Mace was helping Cruz up the slide.

Once we got home, the fun continued!

I love Cruz's new cheesy grin :)

Halloween Day

Halloween Day was a bit on the crazy side. After I got done with school, I went and picked the boys up. We started trying to get the pumpkins cleaned out before Tyler got home from work. Luckily, when Tyler got home, he was able to help us. We got them cleaned and carved together. It was probably the fastest I have ever carved pumpkins, but we really wanted to get out and start trick-or-treating.

Cruz wasn't too happy about getting his picture taken.

Thank goodness for yummy milk to make him happy!

We asked Mace how he wanted his pumpkin carved. Together, him and I drew a face on his pumpkin. Then, Tyler and Mace worked together in making it perfect. He wanted a face and a letter M so we decided to make the mouth a letter M. Mace was very proud of his pumpkin!

I don't think Cruz cared that much, he had his bottle. (And his belly button!)

Tyler and I decided to see who could make the scarier face. I was a bit intimidated when I saw his awesome teeth.

After pumpkin carving, we had our first trick-or-treater. We put our pumpkins out and quickly got the boys ready. We were so excited to go 'real' trick-or-treating with the boys. We knew Mace would catch on quickly and would love going door to door.

Iron man and hulk

We put a pillow in Cruz's shirt to help it look like he had more of a Hulk look. I am not sure if it worked. Some people thought he was a hunchback, others thought he was a turtle.

Our pumpkins. Mace and mine are on the step, while Cruz (with the 'C' shaped eyes- Mace's idea) and Tyler's are below.

We had such a fun Halloween. It was really fun to see Mace get excited. We ran into some friends while we were out. It was nice because they have kids a little older than our kids, so they helped show Mace and Cruz what to do. Their youngest son and Cruz were a lot slower than the older boys. I think they were getting so frustrated. We went and visited Tyler's parents after the boys had collected enough candy.

Even though Halloween was a few days ago, Mace is still asking people what they are going to be. He excitedly tells them that he is going to be Iron man. He doesn't believe me when I tell him the holiday is over.

Can't wait till next year!

Halloween crafts

Before Halloween, we made ghost foot-prints and spider hand-prints with the boys.

Mace really loved it.  It was funny to see Cruz's reaction to the paint.  I don't think he liked it very much.
