Lucy Lou Lou

This week has been very eventful! I have a new niece and she is an absolute doll! I have had so much fun taking care of Cooper while Whitney and Chad have been adjusting to their new lives these past few days. Cooper and I are becoming very good friends! I was expecting him to be a little grumpy every now and then, but he was such a good little boy! We didn't get to do a few of the things that I wanted to because he kept falling asleep, but oh well! We can always do them another time!
Lucy is such a beautiful little girl! I am jealous that she is so tiny! I have a feeling that my baby is already bigger than her. Her full name is Lucy RaNay Rasmussen! She weighed 6 lbs and 14 oz and was 19 inches long! I got to spend the day with Whitney today. I just loved holding Lucy! She is so little and sweet! She just slept the whole time. It makes me so excited for my baby to get here! I only have three weeks left from today!
Speaking of being due soon, I went to see my doctor today! I am still only dilated to a ONE :( I was hoping to be a little further, but oh well. I am considered full term, but I still have three weeks left! I am glad that things have gone well with the pregnancy, but I am really ready to hold him in my arms and not my belly! haha :)

Well, I have to start somewhere!

So, I am new to blogging, and I hope that I can figure everything out eventually! (hint, hint I need your help Whitney and Kourtney!) Anyways, life is going great right now! Tyler and I are expecting our first baby in about four weeks (I am due August 20)! I cannot wait to have him here! Right now we are living in Draper. Tyler has been working very hard trying to get our basement finished! We only have one extra bedroom, but we have been using it as an office. We are in the process of moving the office downstairs, and turning the bedroom into a nursery! I am just hoping that we can get everything down before the baby gets here!
I hope that everyone has a good 24th of July! Tyler and I had our first date on the 24th of July! We were going to make it a tradition to float the Provo River every year, but I don't think that is going to work this year!
