Mother's Day 2013

I am so glad these monkeys are mine. We had a great day together. It was the first time that Mace sang with the primary on Mother's Day. We practiced and practiced the song. It was hilarious to me that once he was up there, he didn't know what to do. He hung his elbow down over the podium/ banister thing and just stared out at everyone. I love that I have the opportunity to be their mother! 

Zoo Day with Cousins

Home Depot Kid's Workshops

On the first Saturday of every month, Home Depot hosts a Kid's Workshop. We have been twice now and I hope to continue. Mace loves it. I think Cruz is a little young, but he still has fun. The last time we went, the boys made a frame for a white board and painted it. 

Cruz got more paint on himself than the frame. He looked like he was bleeding everywhere. 

Iron Man 3

On opening night for Iron Man 3, I surprised Mace and bought tickets for the two of us to go see it.

This is when I told him that we were going. He was so excited, but pretty bummed when I told him that we still had NINE hours until the show started. He kept telling me that it really started in three minutes and that we needed to leave soon.

Right before we left our house. Mace was beyond excited!

Movie time! He wore his mask for the first little bit and then took it off. 

Mace was so good though the whole movie. He got bored a few times, but we made it through the whole thing. The movie started at 9:00 PM! He took a nap from 6:00-8:00 before the movie. It was such a fun Mommy-Mace date!

Time to Get Dressed

On Sunday I told Cruz it was time to get dressed. A few minutes later, I found him wearing Mace's pajamas.  It was so cute to see him dress himself. He was so proud his work!

Zoo Day

We went to the zoo last Tuesday. It was great to see the new animals and exhibits. We had a great night and the boys loved it!
