These are the colors of the Rainbow

Last Sunday, we ate dinner at Tyler's parents.
We celebrated Ben's birthday.
It was fun realizing that between everyone, we had all the colors of the rainbow.

Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Purple.

4th of July in Delta

For the 4th of July, we woke up early and drove to Delta, UT. We spent the day with my sister, grandparents, aunt and uncle, cousins, and all of our kids. It has been one of our favorite family traditions to go to Delta for July 4th.

One the drive down. Mace was so happy to be wearing his hat and sunglasses, as you can tell.

Tyler loves Delta. He just had to take this picture.

Most of the kids- just missing Cruz.

To start the parade, we get to watch these planes fly over head. It is always fun to watch them.

The kids were filling up water balloons and it flipped off. Cute picture!

All of us at the Demolation Derby. This is seriously one of the BEST ways to spend our Country's birthday!

Uncle Jerry and Aunt Lynda

Mace was so excited! He loved watching the cars crash.

I think Cruz was worried about the cars- it was a nail bitter!

Firework show. We always watch from my Aunt and Uncle's house!

The Oak City Fire. It was really cool/crazy to see the fire at night.

Thanks Aunt Lynda and Uncle Jerry for another fun July 4th! We loved seeing and spending time with you guys!

Mace's Fish

Mace got his first pet.  It's name was originally going to be "Truck Grandma Donna", which changed to "Fishy", and then finally to "Guy."  It is a baby Betta fish, and we don't know if it is a male or female yet.

Welcome to the family Guy!

Alpine Fire

We took a few pictures of the Alpine Fire just a few hours after it started.  It was crazy to see how fast the fire traveled.  We were probably 7-10 miles from the flames but you could still see them moving.

It was awesome to see the planes dropping the fire retardant on the hill.  They would fly really close to the ground and then swoop down the hill moments before releasing the retardant.

The flames must have been 50 ft high in some spots.

Drinking from a hose

Cruz demonstrates the proper way an almost 1 year old should drink from a hose:
