Mace eating a warhead candy

A while ago, we thought it would be funny to give Mace one of these:

And we also thought it would be fun to record him at the same time.

It kind of makes me feel bad that we did this, but then it is really funny. Poor Mace. We gave one to our niece, to give to her dad, Tyler's older brother, on Easter. He couldn't do it and immediately spit it in the trash. The girls thought it was funny!

Guess who figured out how to crawl?

Cruz FINALLY figured out how to crawl!

We are so proud of him! I was seriously wondering if he would crawl or walk first.

(I was trying to film in a way that didn't make my house look messy. Then, I forgot and zoomed out while filming. Oops! Just pretend like it looks clean!)

Tyler and Cruz

A few weeks ago, Tyler and Cruz fell asleep together on the couch. It was really cute. Stuff like this never happens with these two, so had to get a picture to document it!

Feeding the Ducks and Playing at the Park

Last week, we needed to get out of the house. Tyler had gone to young mens and so the boys and I grabbed the some bread and hopped in the stroller.

Mace was so much braver than last time we fed the ducks. He was out there, breaking pieces and throwing it to the ducks! He was even sad when the bread was gone!

Cruz was just happy hanging out in the stroller.

Eating bread with the ducks!

I tried getting a picture of the boys together, but they didn't want to look at the camera. :)

Afterwards, we headed to the Smith Fields Park. Mace loved playing on the playground, while Cruz and I hung out close by.

Once the swings opened up, I put both boys in. They loved it!

Easter Egg Hunt

A few weeks before Easter, I saw signs for an Easter Egg Hunt at a park in Draper. I thought it sounded like so much fun and decided we would try to go. We even invited my little brother, Reese, to spend the night and go with us on the morning of the hunt. It ended up being super crazy and we were late, (only by a few minutes) so we didn't get to participate. It was all over as we were walking there. There was one nice boy, who shared a few of his eggs with us. I was SHOCKED that it would be over so quickly! Guess I should have though that hidden candy plus kids equals pure ciaos. Luckily, my sister-in-law planned a fun Easter egg hunt for her girls and Mace!

We learned that next year, we will be super early, which will ensure enough eggs and parking spaces. We also learned that it is a good idea to bring a stroller or at the very least, a backpack. It was pretty crazy because they had the Easter Bunny, Darth Vader, Elmo and Cookie Monster there. And a fire truck. I thought Mace would like the fire truck, because he loves watching them. He was pretty sad and didn't want much to do with it. That's okay though. Next year will be great!

This is the only picture I took. Cruz wasn't sure what to think and Mace didn't want to touch the bunny. Oh well!

Hop in Pop

The kids love to wrestle with Tyler.

It is pretty fun to watch.

Cardiff Peak

Who would have thought that after such a crappy snow year, we would have awesome snow in April?  Kyle, Greg, and I went up for a couple laps on some of the best snow we have had all year.

Here is some guy that skied down before us.

I think this is my favorite picture of Greg

I won't tell you who this is.

The guys that went down before us sent some pretty huge sluffs down the hill

Kyle made perfect tracks down the hill

This is what happens when you wear 166 length skis and aren't used to it.

Look at how much fun Kyle was having!

Bell's Canyon Reservoir

We went up to Bell's Canyon Reservoir with my parents earlier in the week.  Mace loved throwing rocks into the water.

Mace refused to have anyone but Grandma hold his hand on the way down.

Cruz found a pen

You can't turn your back on this kid for a second!

Running to Ensign Peak

Lyndsay is training for a half marathon.
For part of her training, we ran up to Ensign Peak.

It is a cool view from the top.

White Pine after work

Last week I went skiing up to White Pine after work.  The slushy snow stuck to my skis when I got near the lake and I had to boot it to the lake.  I couldn't believe that I was the only one up there - besides snow sticking to my skins, it was awesome.

I forgot to bring some stuff, so instead of a thermal layer under my coat, I wore my button up work shirt.  I forgot a hat and goggles too.
