Valentine's Day

Yesterday, after picking the boys up from daycare, we went through all the Valentines they got.
They each wore red and took Lightening McQueen valentines to pass out to their friends.

We are going to have a real Valentine celebration after Tyler gets back in town!

Mace will not look at the camera!

Mace, for some reason, loves to tip over whenever he holds Cruz. Cruz is not a fan, but Mace still does it.

Cruz likes to lean back on the couch while standing. Looks like he is doing wall sits. :)

Bathtime

Cruz has had a cough lately. We took a steam bath, and he was one happy baby afterwards! I love his chubby rolls!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Cruz has been somewhat of a picky eater. Never seems interested in baby food. We recently figured out that he will eat anything we are eating. On Sunday, I was feeding him some chicken noodle soup. It was the first thing that I couldn't get into his mouth fast enough. He completely zonked out, while I was looking at the computer. Cute little guy!

Brothers

Mace and Cruz.
Funny boys.
Best brothers.

Cruz- Look, I found my ear.  Mace- I can be super cheesey!

Funny thing. We bought Mace new underwear. Didn't realize that they were size 4T before we opened them. Mace wanted Cruz to wear them, too. Don't you love how they seem to fit Cruz better? I love his bubble butt!

Hanging with some great friends

Last weekend we spent some time with some of our friends. We took a walk to the park, where the kids played and the adults practiced using our beacons.

Mace would use his face to hold on to the rock as he climbed up. :)

I think this looks so cool!

Cruz and Gage. Best friends, whether they like it or not!

Tyler being awesome!

Tyler loves to ski. If you have looked at our blog anytime in the winter, you probably know that buy now. I think he is a great skier. I always feel a bit intimidated when I go with him.

Here Tyler is, looking pretty great!

And this just might be one of my new favorite pictures of him. It makes us laugh! He was going down a really steep part and thought he might fall. He didn't, but he does make some great facial expressions!

Eating

Poor Cruzer. He has decided that he likes to eat. As long as it is not baby food, that is. He is learning how to eat finger food, without much luck. He can 'sort of' grab it off the tray, but when it comes to letting go of it in his mouth, he has trouble.

So sad. It fell and he didn't know where his food went. :(

And Mace, just being silly!

Going to the Zoo . . . Again!

We sure love the zoo! It is really fun to go in the winter time because it isn't very crowded and the animals are more active. The only down side it that it is cold, but oh well! We have definitely made our membership worth having!

Mace and Grandpa Roy

The Nicholson Gang

One of Macer's favorites- The turtle!

I love this pic!

Our cute niece- Sadie!

Another Cutie- Meredith!

Mace's current favorite- Alligators (Even though I think they are really crocodiles, there is no way to convince Mace of that!)

Tyler's Favorite

Sadie and Me

My favorite- Giraffes. And Tyler's older brother, Ben, trying to pet it

Taking a snooze :)

We had a great day. It is always fun to get out of the house and see some cool animals!

Balance

One of our neighbors showed Tyler this cool little balancing act.

Mace loved it.

Now, Cruz loves it!

And Mace is afraid. Silly kid!

Playing in the Rain

Last week, the boys and I got home in the middle of a rain storm. I am not sure when Mace learned about splashing in puddles, but that is what he wanted to do. Cruz had fallen asleep in the car, so Mace and I ran from puddle to puddle jumping and splashing as much as possible. By the end, we were both soaked! It gave us a good reason to put on some comfy clothes and enjoy a treat together.

The puddle jumping only lasted for a few minutes, but it was super fun.
I am really excited for the next time it rains!
